There
is an important need to address food and climate with a global team at multiple
sites. This led to the name Food And
Climate Team Site (FACTS).
FACTS will build on the assessment by the International Energy Agency that greenhouse gases must be reduced significantly by 2020 or we may not be able to avert climate catastrophe. We will also build on the prominence of our work – cited by many prominent sources, including a United Nations General Assembly report, the New York Times, and Bill Gates – and disseminated through our website “Chomping Climate Change”.
